Congress is going on vacation - again. It's called their "August Recess." Last year the house was in session about 79 days, but got paid for the full year. I suppose we the people win the longer this body of poltroons for one world government are out of session, but at this time in our history, instead of staying on the job and stopping the destruction of this country, many will head for luxurious digs and big money events while an average of 25 Americans will die at the hands of illegals each and every day they're "in recess." That's another 775 Americans who will be slaughtered on the roads and highways by drunk illegals or outright murdered. That doesn't count the victims of violent sexual predators here illegally or all the other criminal acts by illegal aliens. Their blood will be on the hands of Pelosi, Bush, Reid and their fellow sycophants.

On July 26, 2007, another 13 American soldiers were killed in Iraq; while Congress is on their month long vacation, our soldiers will continue dying in this unconstitutional invasion built on a mountain of lies. Kids sent into war unprepared for what it really means. The tragic results are everywhere and this is just one example: Marine: Unit Was Ordered to 'Crank Up Violence Level' in Iraq. "I don't see it as an execution, sir," he told the judge, according to the newspaper. "I see it as killing the enemy." He said Marines consider all Iraqi men part of the insurgency. "Because of the way they live, the clans, they're all in it together," he said." That whole mess is just one tragedy after another. As I have written so many times, Iraq was doomed for failure from the beginning just like the last NINE failed nation building attempts, i.e., Has Cold War II commenced? July 9, 2007. "This time the battle has been a diplomatic one thus far. A battle between the U.S. and Serbia. The battle between adherences to foundations of international law vs. force. ...After the KLA insurrection from Albania was defeated by the Serbian police, (Bill) Clinton/Blair decided to go to war against Serbia and in the process hijacked holocaust to wrest Kosovo from Serbia." After 8 years the UN/NATO protectorate has dismally failed...and in the process grossly violated the UN 1244. Having created a royal mess so called international community started looking for the way out. A centerpiece of the program: human rights eight point package ahead of status approach was jettisoned. In 2003, a UN police spokesman said that Kosovo “is not a society affected by organized crime, but a society founded on organized crime.”

Every penny for that unconstitutional invasion was written with a hot check; estimates from various sources range from $15 BILLION to $79 BILLION BORROWED dollars. The American people will never know the truth, we just continue to bury our dead, our veterans treated like throw-aways. Democrats should remember what Nancy Pelosi upchucked back then:

I know time is a precious commodity, but I encourage everyone to read this speech by by Congressman James Utt, 'None is so blind as he who will not see,' Congressional Record, January 15, 1962. It is absolutely germane to the endless wars for communist domination. The government's indoctrination centers (public schools) no longer teach anything resembling history in their social experimentation facilities, but it is imperative that we the people fully understand the big picture. Instead of spending time at football training camp or the mall this weekend, please take time to read that linked item. Those who bled rivers of blood during the American Revolutionary War gave up their tomorrows so we could have ours as a free people. Bush with the blessing of Congress is continuing to rob the people's treasury for unconstitutional looting for this:

WASHINGTON, Jul 19 (IPS) - The United States, Germany and Russia have agreed to write off one billion dollars in bilateral debts owed by Afghanistan, or 92 percent of the poor nation's debt to the three nations. The move comes only a week after the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) said Kabul has followed their economic advice and now qualifies for more debt forgiveness. The United States, which considers Afghanistan a central front on the so-called "war on terror", said it played a major role in bringing about both deals." Did you give your permission for this insanity? There's no constitutional authority for this type of stealing of the fruits of your labor to simply give away to any country. There's no money in the U.S. Treasury, so more hot checks will have to be written to cover other spending because this BILLION is now blown out the window. While Congress is on vacation during the month of August, another $12 BILLION BORROWED dollars will be spent for a continuation of this mess:

All we the people have to show for it is dead, wounded and maimed for life soldiers, destroyed families and hundreds of billions BORROWED dollars in debt to fund them.

Mobilize America! Congress will be in their home districts at least part of their vacation time pretending to "work on your behalf." They hold town hall meetings and this is where we need HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of Americans to show up. I've been to dozens of them and I can tell you that members of Congress hate anyone other than seniors showing up to sit and listen about how Congress critter so and so is going to vote for more "free prescription medicine!" and "Save social security!" They hate it when informed Americans show up and make their voice heard. Please get yourself and as many folks as possible together and attend every town hall meeting in your district, every dinner, Chamber of Commerce glad handing and any other place your Congress critter is going to be and tell them we the people demand - for starters:

Recission of the John Warner Defense Military Authorization Act; read this because every American must understand what it really means; get the U.S. out of the UN once and for all; nullify the Patriot Act; we demand the U.S. withdraw from the Codex Alimentarius; that agreement is destroying our right to take care of our bodies, not the government and certainly not corporations, both foreign and domestic. Legalize Vitamin B-17 for purchase in stores. The only reason is was yanked was to benefit the big pharma houses losing money on the cancer scam. Get rid of the FDA. It is treaty based and I did NOT give my permission for this agency to pimp for the pharmaceutical houses and big business; see here. The FDA is a rotten, corrupt operation and we don't need it. Stop the stealing of the people's purse via contributions to the World Bank, Bank of International Settlements and all other unconstitutional spending; bring our troops home from around the world now, not in 2009 or 2020; stop all foreign aid. Get rid of the withholding scam, abolish the privately owned Federal Reserve, get rid of any direct federal income tax and return to constitutional revenues to fund a limited form of republican government, continue pressuring Bush to fire Alberto Gonalzes and get a grand jury convened if possible and charge this guy with perjury at the very least.

It's too late to demand our Army not be used in Canada as local coppers for the North American Union confab up there, August 20-21, 2007, but this is beyond an outrage: see here. However, you can tell your Congress critter at a town hall meeting that this is NOT the proper use of our military. We did have a victory last week when the House votied to limit funding for this so called Security and Prosperity Partnership. However, it's a catch 22. Why should one dollar be taken from the people's treasury to fund this treacherous operation? There is NO money in the treasury and any funds will have to be borrowed - again. More debt for something we the people - except those who will profit - don't want. We must demand passage of Virgil Goode's H.C.R.487 in the House and then demand the counterfeit senate get it passed to stop any North American Union/ SPP. This is treason in my opinion. Maybe not in the legal sense as defined by the U.S. Constitution, but it would mean the end of these united States of America. Now Cheney chimes in: Ain't no superhighways
VP latest to make official denial, some call it 'gaming semantics'

Despite evidence to the contrary, Vice President Dick Cheney says there is no "secret plan" to create a continent-crossing superhighway to help facilitate a merger of the United States, Mexico and Canada.

"The administration is not engaged in a secret plan to create a 'NAFTA super highway,'" asserts Cheney in a recent letter to a constituent, according to a copy of the message obtained by WND.

The vice president's letter quotes an Aug. 21 statement from the U.S. Department of Transportation that, "The concept of a super highway has been around since the early 1990s, usually in the form of a claim that the U.S. Department of Transportation is going to designate such a highway."

DOT then refutes the claim, stating, "The Department of Transportation has never had the statutory authority to designate a NAFTA super highway and has never sought such authority."

The DOT statement then retracts the absolute nature of that statement, qualifying that, "The Department of Transportation will continue to cooperate with the State transportation departments in the I-35 corridor as they upgrade this vital interstate highway to meet 21st century needs. However, these efforts are the routine activities of a Department that cooperates with all the state transportation departments to improve the Nation's intermodal transportation network."

The DOT statement cited by the vice president seems to model the denial recently fashioned by the North America's SuperCorridor Coalition, Inc., or NASCO, on its website.

There NASCO states, "There a no plans to build a new NAFTA Superhighway – it exists today as I-35."

The coalition continues to distinguish its support for a North American "SuperCorridor" from a "NAFTA Superhighway," asserting that a "SuperCorridor is not 'Super-sized." The website then claims NASCO uses the term "SuperCorridor" to demonstrate "we are more than just a highway coalition."

In a July 21, 2006, internal e-mail obtained by WND under a Missouri Sunshine Law request, Tiffany Melvin, executive director of NASCO, cautions "NASCO friends and members" that, "We have to stay away from 'SuperCorridor' because it is a very bad, hot button right now."

As WND previously reported, Jeffrey Shane, undersecretary of transportation for policy at the U.S. Department of Transportation got into a spirited exchange in January with congressmen after he asserted to a House subcommittee that NAFTA Superhighways were an "urban legend."

In response to questioning by Rep. Ted Poe, R-Texas, before the Subcommittee on Highways and Transit of the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, Shane asserted he was "not familiar with any plan at all, related to NAFTA or cross-border traffic."

Rep. Peter DeFazio, D-Ore., then questioned aloud whether Shane was just "gaming semantics" when responding to Poe's question.

In June 2006, when first writing about NASCO, WND displayed the original homepage of NASCO, which used to open with a map highlighting the I-35 corridor from Mexico to Canada, arguing the trade group and its members were actively promoting a NAFTA superhighway.

In what appears to be the third major revamping of the NASCO website since WND first began writing articles about NASCO, the Dallas-based trade group carefully removes identifying NASCO with the words behind the acronym, "North America's SuperCorridor Coalition, Inc.," which the original NASCO website once proudly proclaimed.

The current NASCO homepage displays a photo montage of intermodal highway scenes, presumably taken along I-35, but without any map displaying a continental I-35 super corridor linking Mexico and Canada.

NASCO currently relegates the continental I-35 map to an internal webpage that describes the North American Inland Ports Network as a "working group" within NASCO that supports inland member cities who have designated themselves as "inland ports," seeking to warehouse container traffic originating in Mexican ports on the Pacific such as Manzanillo and Lázaro Cárdenas.

The beige and blue continental I-35 map now positioned on an internal page of the NASCO website was originally used as the second NASCO website, in make-over of the original NASCO blue and yellow continental I-35 map that made the continental nature of the I-35 appear graphically more pronounced.

WND has also previously reported that in a speech to NASCO on April 30, 2004, Secretary of Transportation Norman Mineta referred to Interstate Highways 35, 29 and 94 – the core highways supported by NASCO as a prime "North American Super Corridor" – Mineta commented to NASCO that the trade group "recognized that the success of the NAFTA relationship depends on mobility – on the movement of people, of products, and of capital across borders."

WND has also reported Rep. Duncan Hunter, R-Calif., a GOP presidential candidate, introduced an amendment to H.R. 3074, the Transportation Appropriations Act for Fiscal Year 2008, prohibiting the use of federal funds for participating in working groups under the Security and Prosperity Partnership, including the creation of NAFTA Superhighways.

On July 24, Hunter's amendment passed 362 to 63, with strong bipartisan support. Later, the House of Representatives passed H.R. 3074 by a margin of 268-153. The bill has been sent to the Senate with Hunter's amendment included.

According to Freedom of Information Request documents obtained by WND, Jeffrey Shane has been appointed by the Bush administration to be the U.S. lead bureaucrat on the North American Transportation Working Group under the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America.

On July 23, 1997, the NAFTA Superhighway Coalition was formed to promote continental highway development in association with the Ambassador Bridge.

Pesach of the final REDEMPTION!!

Everyone, it is now time to pray and clean out the leaven. Rav Mordechai Eliyahu has introduced a Tzaddik to the world who has informed us that the Geulah (the final redemption) will begin during this Holy month. The process is not known until it becomes history. But as Gog? W. Bush tries to carry out his evil scheme to divide the Holy City, the resting place of the Divine Presence of the Almighty, everything that is written in the words of our holy prophets will be fulfilled.

As of time, on the third of Nissan 5765, details are still sketchy. But the undeniable video is a reality. http://gog.web-site.co.il/gog/hahamg.asx . Now I can finally write my essay about the cosmic clock. This very well may be the Year of Pesach. Just a piece:

All of world history is a cosmic travel from Pesach to Sukkot (Tabernacles). The first Temple corresponded with Pesach. The Second Temple corresponded with Shavuot (The Feast of Weeks). The final Temple will correspond with Sukkot (Tabernacles). Because of our sin of internecine causeless hatred, the divine presence could not come down into the Second Temple. The 420 years that it stood plus the 70 years that Yerushalayim was barren between the Temples add up to 490 years.

There are 49 days between Pesach and Shavuot. Each decade of the Second Temple period corresponded with one level of purity that we purify ourselves during the 49 day period between Pesach and Shavuot. Because of our disunity, the Divine Presence could not descend into the Holy of Holies and reside at the end of 490 years. Therefore the Talmud tells us that the red thread that was tied between the horns of the goat that went to Azezel did not turn white for the last 40 years before the Second Temple was destroyed.

On the day of the Second Temples destruction, the 9th of Av, instead of welcoming the Divine Presence's descent into the Second Temple, we entered the year of the 17th of Tamuz. You see every year for that last 40 years when the sins of the nation were not forgiven on Yom Kippur was like one day between Shavuot and the 17th of Tamuz, the day that the desert generation worshiped the golden calf.

From here we are told by the Gemarrah in Megilah that Esau would rule the world in 300 year cycles.

"There are 300 princes of Edom in Germany and 365 in Rome. "

Everyday to paraphrase the Gemarrah one prince of Germany is united with one prince of Rome. Amalek, the force for greatest evil in the world, is held back from taking over the world because of Germany's internal disunity and its lack of an alliance with the papacy in Rome. For if the two ever united, Amalek would go forth to destroy the world.

Of course the first time this happened was in the 1930s. Until the 1870s under Bismark Germany was a patchwork of 300 fiefdoms. Yet, a united Germany did not sign a treaty of unity with the Catholic Church and Italy until the 1930s. Remember in WWI Germany and Italy were on the opposite sides of that war. Yet, the only treaties that Hitler never broke was the ones he signed with Italy and the Pope.

According to the Great Rebukes to be found in both Leviticus and Deuteronomy, Israel was to be chased in seven different directions until Israel became a byword amongst the nations. After the destruction of the first Temple, each different direction was supposed to last 370 years. Yet our great advocate, Daniel while he was a courtier in the court of Nebuchadnezzer prayed that 70 of those years, since they corresponded to the Sabbatical years which Israel did not properly keep, would correspond to the 70 intervening years between the first and second Temple. Israel would not need to suffer for the six intervening years during which the Shmittah(letting the land lie ownerless in the seventh year) was not required to be kept.

Therefore, he was able to convince the Almighty to allow Israel to get its act together for 6x70 = 420 years. Sadly, Israel did not get its act together during that period of time. Yet, even after this deal, six 300 year cycles corresponding to the Gemarrah in Megillah were decreed on the Jewish people while Rome and its descendents ruled. Here Esau's name is written out in history. The Ayin in Esau's name is the 70 years between the destruction to the 2nd Temple and the crushing of the Bar Kochba Revolt in the year 135 plus five more years of chasing Jewish rebels around the Holy Land until they were hunted down.

The last was Rabbi Akiva, who died a martyrs death around the year 140 ce., 70 years after the destruction of the Second Temple. As a matter of fact this 70 year period is also known as the period of the ten who were destroyed for the purification of malchut (kingship). There would be at least ten martyrs for each of the kabbalistic Sefirot (spiritual dimensions on which the lower worlds are built) from malchut to chesed (lovingkindness). Each sefirah would correspond with the six remaining 300 year destructions, the letter Sin in Esau's name.

The years 140-440 would purify the sefirah of Yesod (foundation). The years 440-740 would purify the sefirah of Hod (glory). The years 740-1040 would purify the sefirah of Netzach (eternity). The years 1040 through 1340 would purify the sefirah of T'phereth (charisma). Ther years 1340 - 1640 would purify the sefirah of Gevurah (might or strict judgment). And finally the years 1640 -1940 would purify the sefirah of Chesed (lovingkindness).

Yet in order to make way for Israel's redemption the Cosmic Clock would need to start ticking. It had been stuck on the 17th of Tamuz since the year 70. The last and 7th Churban (destruction ) would need to correspond with the 9th of Av. There are 21 days between the 17th of Tamuz and the 9th of Av. There are 21 years between the end of WWI in 1918 and the beginning of WW2 in 1939. The Cosmic Clock started to tick again in 1918. The winds of cosmic change were so great that for the first time since the destruction of the Second Temple the majority of the world's Jews were no longer Shomer Shabbat (Sabbath observant).

The Chofetz Chaim and other Gedolim(Sages) including the Chazon Ish were asked why is it that children of Torah Scholars were now Bolshevicks? Does not the apple always fall close to the tree. The Gadol Hador answered,"not when the winds of cosmic change are blowing at gale force." Those winds of cosmic change started blowing with gale force in 1918.

Therefore if 1918 (5678) was the last year of the 17th of Tamuz, then 1931 (5691) was Rosh Chodesh Av (the first of Av). Within four years two Torah giants who were also descendants of Aharon died, Rav Yisrael Meir Kagan Hakohen a.k.a. the Chofetz Chaim and Rav Avraham Yitzchak hakohen Kook.) It is no accident that they passed away at a time which mirrored the passing of their ancestor who bequeathed to them the Crown of the Priesthood, Aharon Hakohen who passed away on the 1st of Av. (Kohen means Priest for G-dly service).

1939 (5699) was the 9th of Av. Hitler attacked Poland less than one month before the year 5700 which would have corresponded with the tenth of Av. On the tenth of each month the month is sealed for the spirit of judgment that each month manifests. Tamuz is often a conduit for divine wrath. Av is usually a conduit for divine consolation. Yet its seal is not applied until the tenth of Av. In a year when divine wrath is decreed the Satan will often start a process of destruction just before sundown on the ninth of the month of Av, for on the tenth no destruction can begin.

Yet, if the destruction begins on the ninth it is allowed to continue to the 15th of Av, when a second decree for divine consolation counters the original decree for destruction on the 9th, which is really a decree which began in Tamuz. Remember it is written and sealed for the entire year on the 1st and 10th of Tishrei respectively, and becomes physically manifest with the full moon. Physical manifestation for decrees from on high last seven days.

Therefore Sukkot lasts from the 15th until the 21st of Tishrei. The same pattern is observed in microcosm for each month. The spiritual decree is on the first. It is sealed on the tenth. And it becomes physically manifest on the 14th day for 29 day months and on the 15th day for 30 day months. The New Moon judgments determine our eternity while the full moon judgments determine our this worldly status.

Therefore if 5699 (1939) was the 9th of Av, then 5705 (1945) was Tu B'Av, an ancient festival celebrating the end of our destructions which regularly started with the 9th of Av. Here we also have the Vav in Esau's name, the six years of the Holocaust, 1940,41,42,43,44,45. At this point the clock keeps ticking, but to make my point, I will introduce the concept of the Macrocosmic and Microcosmic coexistent processes. Since we are now approaching the Sukkot period of world History, the redemption from 1945 onwards can and must be understood on two levels, the redemption of Israel which is tied most closely with Pesach and the redemption of Mankind which is tied most closely with Sukkot.

Therefore while on a Macrocosmic level 5705 marked the end of WW2 and can best be tied to the 15th of Av, microcosmically for Israel as a nation it was tied mostly with the 15th of Sh'vat, the New Year for tree fruits in the Land of Israel. It was time to come home.

Now I will speed up for this is just a survey of the Cosmic Clock. It is no accident before the great rebuke in Leviticus which speaks of Israel being chased in seven different directions, we read about the seven cycles of Shmittah (seven x seven year Sabbatical cycles where each seven year cycle ends with a Sabbath year for the Land of Israel) and then the Jubilee year. The Jubilee was the 50th year which had many of the same agricultural prohibitions of the Shmittah year with a few extra provisos.

One of them was that a Jewish slave was freed on Yom Kippur that year. And secondly, land which was rented out to a tenant farmer returned to its original owner. In both cases the Torah says that the land and its owners were to be returned to their possessions. Tashuvu L'achuzato תשבו, you will return to your former status as free men, and the your territorial inheritance will return to you from the tenant farmer. In both cases the word tashuvu is spelled tav, shin, bet, vav. The numerical value is 708.

After seven attempts at your annihilation, you would return in the year 708. 5708 was 1948. That year was chai (18th) b'av or chai b'shvat depending on our macrocosmic or microcosmic reference. 5720 -(1960) was Rosh Chodesh Elul/Adar. No wonder that just before the onset of this decade Rav Yoshe Ber Soleveitchik ztl wrote one of his classic works Kol Dodi Dofek, The Voice of My Beloved Knocks, in which he describes six ways that G-d was knocking after the Holocaust in order to bring our redemption.

This of course is based on the Song of Songs, the classic book of the bible that most represents the month of Elul, for it is related to the acronym, Ani L'dodi V'dodi Li (I am for my beloved and my beloved is for me.) In Hebrew this classic Song of Songs verse in the acronym spells out Elul. 5727 (1967) of course was the 7th of Adar/Elul. The 7th of Adar was Moshe Rabbeinu's day of death. The last place he saw while standing on Mt Nebo across the Jordan was the part of the Land of Israel that was closest to where he was standing, Judea and Samaria.

It is no accident that 5727 was the year of the Six Day War which brought Israel's border to the Jordan River. 5734 (Fall of 1973) was of course Purim (14th Adar). It is no accident that that was the year of the Yom Kippur War, the war which was a day like Purim as our sages would put it.

5750 (1990) and 5751 (1991) correspond with Rosh Hashana and Rosh Chodesh Nissan respectively. Since these are New Years, one would expect that because of these two years the world would change forever. The Vilna Gaon even tells us that. He said that 3/4 of the way through the Sixth Millennium would be like 3/4 of the way through the Sixth day of the week. Since the day begins at sundown, 3/4 through Friday takes us to high noon, when shofar blowers in ancient times ascended the hills of the Land of Israel to blow the shofar to call Israel in from their fields to prepare for Shabbat, the 7th millennium. And a great shofar blast (a Tekiah) was blown in heaven, and in came Jews who got lost in the Land of Ashur, were absorbed by the Turkish tribe called the Khazars, 1200 years later reconverted back to Judaism, and were eventually absorbed by the expanding Russian empire when Khazaria was destroyed in 1243 ce.

In came the castaways that Sencheriv no longer needed as porters in Egypt. Where did he push them? into Ethiopia, of course, beyond the Sanbat River, the source of the Blue Nile in Gondar Province, which rushes wildly all week so that it cannot be crossed. But on Shabbat when they cannot leave their villages, the Sanbat River rested. There these castaways were absorbed by an existing Jewish community from 200 years earlier, when Menelik the First, the son of Solomon and the Queen of Shwa went back to live in his father's palace in Yerushalayim.

Solomon's death Menelik returned to Shwa with emissaries from the Tribe of Dan and converted the entire royal household to Judaism. The porters for Senchariv's War against Egypt were no longer needed. Remnants of Dan, Naftali, and Asher were sent packing southward like castaways into Ethiopia. Unlike their Northern Kingdom brothers who were lost in the land of Ashur, the castaways from Egypt were absorbed into an existing Jewish community in Ethiopia. They may have been lost to the rest of the Jewish world for over 2000 years, but in Ethiopia they were with fellow Jews beyond the River Sambatyon. In 5751, on Shabbat, 14,000 Jews came home as they crossed the placid waters of the Sanbat in the greatest airlift of human cargo of all time.

Operation Solomon was a crowning success to kick off the period of history called the Ingathering of the Exiles. In the course of just five years one million Jews came home. (Sadly because of policies of a virulently secular Israeli government, a quarter of a million gentiles who did not necessarily love the Holy Land joined in on the mass influx.) Of course just to let us know that 5751 was Rosh Hashana, and the beginning of the last quarter of the 6th Millennium, 39 scuds fell on the Land of Israel to prepare the nation for the time that will always be Shabbat. ( There are 39 major categories of prohibited activity on the Shabbat.)

At this point we entered the Ten Years of Awe between Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur (or between Rosh Chodesh Nissan and the tenth of Nissan when we prepared for the redemption from Egypt). For a while it was unclear which was the first day of Tishrei (5750 or 5751). This is so because Elul according to the Torah, like any other month can have 29 or 30 days. If it had 29 days as is the case in our long exile, then the first of Tishrei would be 5750. If on the other hand, Elul had 30 days the first of Tishrei would be 5751.

In short both 5750 and 5751 were years of Rosh Hashana/ Rosh Chodesh Nissan, but how many years there would be to Yom Kippur, eight or nine years, was not known by the author of this blog at that time. I would need to wait. Looking back, I should have known. For in a Nissan which is preceded by 29 days in Adar, Rosh Chodesh only lasts for one day. Here since there were two miraculous years, I should have assumed that there were two days of Rosh Chodesh Nissan, meaning that 5750 was the 30th of Adar/Elul and 5751 was the first of Nissan and the first of Tishrei. 5760(Y2K) was therefore Yom Kippur/10th of Nissan.

At the very end of that year the Al Aksa intafada began, for the entire world had been immersed in a kosher mikva since there are 5760 egg volumes of water in a kosher mikvah. From this point onwards the world was being sweetened for judgment. So let me see. There are four intervening days between Yom Kippur/10th of Nissan until Sukkot and Pesach (5761,5762, 5763, 5764) COULD THIS REALLY BE THE YEAR OF SUKKOT/PESACH!!!!

Again, MAHER EHOV KI BA MOED! (Hurry up my beloved, for the appointed moment has arrived!!) God willing we are not stuck on Yom Kippur like we were on the 17th of Tamuz.

That surrender led directly to the Marxist Labor party's ouster from power in 1977 after 29 years of totalitarian rule over the people of Israel. In 1977, Menachem Begin's Likud party took power promising not to surrender a single inch of Jewish land.

Yet within months of becoming Prime Minister, the hopelessly weak and cowardly Begin was already offering Egyptian Nazi dictator Anwar el-Sadat the entire G-d-given Sinai.

Begin carried out, in stages, the complete surrender of the sacred Sinai. The final surrender came in April 1982.

In 1984, a new "national unity government" was formed because neither Labor nor Likud could muster enough coalition support to form a regime on its own. That was also the year when Israel was greatly blessed by the election of the giant of our generation, HaRav Meir Kahane, to the Knesset (Israeli Parliament).

The new Likud-Labor "unity" regime barred Rabbi Kahane from running again in 1988 when his movement was about to win 10% of the Knesset seats according to national polls.

Government ministers openly conceded that the pressure of the Kahanist movement had been responsible for triggering this program of strengthening the Jewish presence in Biblical Israel. Yet the Likud's insistence upon banning the Kahanist movement would eventually lead to the government's downfall.

The Persian Gulf War started in 1991, and the Likud cowards did not strike back when Iraqi Nazi dictator Saddam Hussein fired 39 lethal Scud missiles at Tel Aviv.

In the 1992 Knesset election, the Kahanist parties were again banned even after the murder of our holy Rabbi, and the Likud was voted out of power. But the self-hating Jewish politicians who run Israel did not learn.

A Border Patrol agent who was acquitted of a charge of using excessive force during a 2004 arrest of a Chinese national on suspicion of drug smuggling is suing the U.S. Department of Homeland Security for $25 million.

And in a companion lawsuit, Robert Rhodes is seeking another $25 million from three Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents with the Office of Professional Responsibility.

He says the agents disregarded their oaths by pursuing a politically motivated prosecution against him to appease their superiors, who allegedly were seeking to do what communist China wanted.

"I was involved in a political prosecution that our government began at the demand of the government of communist China," Rhodes told WND. "The prosecution was promised to China by then-Secretary of State Colin Powell and then-Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security Tom Ridge."

His lawyer, Steven Cohen, concurs.

"My client's prosecution was ordered by the Bush administration to appease the Chinese government," Cohen told WND.

WND requests for comment from the U.S. Department of Justice and U.S. Customs and Border Protection in the Department of Homeland Security did not produce a response from either agency.

But it's not the only time there have been indications that U.S. prosecutors have agreed to file a case against a U.S. Border Patrol agent at the direction of a foreign government.

WND has reported that Border Patrol agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean were prosecuted only after the Mexican Consulate intervened and presented Osvaldo Aldrete-Davila, the Mexican national drug smuggler who had illegally entered the U.S. in the Ramos-Compean incident, and demanded the Border Patrol agents who shot Davila be prosecuted.

WND also reported Rocksprings, Texas, Deputy Sheriff Gilmer Hernandez was only prosecuted at the insistence of the Mexican Consulate.

WND has printed copies of a series of letters the Mexican Consulate wrote demanding that the U.S. government protect the civil rights of the Mexican national illegal immigrants who were in the fleeing van that Hernandez shot at, after the van allegedly tried to run Hernandez over in the process of fleeing from a routine traffic stop.

In Rhodes' case, the record shows that Powell and Ridge both apologized to China over the incident and promised to investigate the Border Patrol agents involved.

"By filing this lawsuit," Andy Ramirez, chairman of the Friends of the Border Patrol, a national advocacy group for federal border patrol agencies, explained to WND, "Robert Rhodes is standing up to the government and saying you cannot continue doing to my fellow Border Patrol officers what you did to me."

The July 21, 2004, incident that led to Rhodes' prosecution involved Zhao Yan, a Chinese national woman who was arrested by Rhodes at the Rainbow Bridge in the Port of Buffalo, New York. Zhao Yan was with two other female suspects who fled when Rhodes and 13 other Border Patrol agents attempted to arrest them.

Rhodes grabbed Zhao Yan, who proceeded to punch, kick, and scratch Rhodes as he attempted to subdue her.

Even though Rhodes was armed with a duty-issued Glock 9 mm weapon, he chose to use non-lethal pepper spray to subdue Zhao Yan.

But within a day of the Rainbow Bridge incident, Rhodes was arrested and charged with violating Zhao Yan's civil rights by having used excessive force in arresting her.

Other Border Patrol officers who had assisted Rhodes in the arrest gave inconsistent statements to investigators, claiming that Rhodes had forcefully grabbed Zhao Yan by the hair and smashed her head against the ground.

At his trial in August and September 2005, the jury acquitted Rhodes of all charges, after deliberating less than three hours.

Rhodes' allegations he was prosecuted at the insistence of the Chinese government are backed by postings yet archived on Chinese Consulate websites.

The Consulate-General of the People's Republic of China in Houston, Texas, continues to document on their website that Powell wrote a letter to the Chinese government promising that the U.S. government would "thoroughly investigate the beating case" of Zhao Yan.

The Chinese Consulate in Houston argued that Zhao Yan was "a business woman from China's northern coastal city of Tianjin," who was on her first U.S. business trip when "she was attacked at Niagara Falls near the U.S.-Canadian border on July 21 by Rhodes and other officers of U.S. Customs and Border Protection."

The Consulate went on to claim that six days after Zhao Yan was "brutally attacked," she "was still suffering from a bad headache, swollen eyes and mental trauma. She also had a broken tooth and severe back pains which forced her to ride in a wheelchair."

But nowhere does the Chinese Consulate in Houston say she was suspected of drug smuggling.

Instead, the Consulate emphasized that Powell apologized because the U.S. is an "open society" that welcomes visitors. "Our goal is to ensure that visitors from around the world have a safe and enjoyable stay in the United States," the Consulate quoted Powell as saying. "The United States will continue to work that incidents such as this one do not occur again."

The Consulate-General of the People's Republic of China in New York still posts the apology from Ridge, who is quoted as expressing his "great regret" over "the beating of Chinese businesswoman Zhao Yan by officers of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection last week."

Ridge is further quoted as saying, "We have communicated to the Chinese Government that the U.S. customs officer was arrested by Customs and Border Patrol police and his case referred for criminal prosecution."

Even though he was acquitted at his trial, Rhodes paid a huge price for being indicted.

"Since the incident," Rhodes told WND, "I've lost my house, I've lost my pension. I have tried to find a job and I always get turned down. I feel like I have been black-balled by the government. I am on food stamps and public assistance. Right now, I have no health care insurance."

"Many Border Patrol agents tell us they're truly concerned about what will happen to them if they get into a struggle with someone trying to enter the country illegally," said Cohen. "How many terrorists and criminals will enter our country because our government won't support its own border enforcement officers?"

A complicating factor is Rhodes' admitted homosexuality. He earlier had complained to the Equal Employment Opportunity that Customs and Border Protection harassed him for minor offenses.

Cohen contended that every aspect of Rhodes' trial was political.

"Every day," he told WND, "the entire front row of the courtroom would be taken up by Chinese government officials and outside the courtroom Asian students picketed against Rhodes."

Cohen told WND that for two years after his trial Rhodes pursued unsuccessfully administrative paths to get his job back.

"Robert was suspended without pay immediately, right when the incident occurred," Cohen told WND, "But he wasn’t formally terminated until a few months ago."

He said Rhodes legal fees including lawyers, expert witnesses, and investigators amounted to more than $200,000.

"The vast majority of the legal fees have gone unpaid," Cohen told WND. "Rhodes was tremendously outgunned by the government. The government brought a staggering amount of resources to the job, not of searching for the truth, but making sure Rhodes was convicted, regardless what it cost."

Michael Battle was the U.S. attorney whose office prosecuted Rhodes. In the controversy surrounding Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, Battle resigned his position as the director of the executive office of U.S. Attorneys.

Cohen said Rhodes' lawsuit against DHS alleges that the government investigators knowingly disregarded pertinent information and violated standard investigation procedures to pursue a politically motivated prosecution.

Fires are erupting, infrastructure is failing and hundreds are dying from record high temperatures rolling across central and southeastern Europe this week. For a week, Hungary has been on its highest-level heat alert—the first time this level has been applied in the country. Hungary’s chief medical officer announced that an estimated 500 people had died in one week from the heat. During that same period, firefighters were called upon to quench 3,000 blazes. In Romania, where temperatures have recurrently exceeded 100 degrees Fahrenheit, more than 800 people were reported to have fainted in the streets. Many communities have no water because wells are drying up. On Tuesday, Reuters reported that the hot spell has put 19,000 Romanians in hospital. Farmers estimate losses of $2 billion or more. Heat and fires are also ravaging large sections of Bulgaria, where some areas in the south are experiencing temperatures soar to 120-year highs. In addition to sparking numerous fires, extreme temperatures in many Balkan nations are causing massive power outages and water shortages. On Wednesday, Albania endured renewed power and water cuts as hydroelectric stations struggled to cope with demand. “For more than a month Albanians have suffered power cuts of up to 15 hours at a stretch, while residents of Tirana, the capital, had access to water through the city’s mains for only two hours a day” (abc News, July 26). Kosovo, Montenegro and Macedonia are also enduring breakdowns in water and power infrastructure. Temperatures have been so hot that in some places train and tram services have been delayed because rails are warping. Extreme temperatures are also leaving their mark on Italy and Greece, two nations heavily dependent on summer tourism. “In southern Italy, thousands of tourists were trapped on beaches in the Puglia region as a fast-moving bushfire forced people from campsites and hotels to run for their lives. At least two people have died, local authorities said” (Reuters, July 24). In Athens, where temperatures exceeded 110 degrees Fahrenheit this week, authorities are warning people to minimize movement, remain indoors and drink plenty of water. Compounding the misery are high pollution levels, humidity and stagnant air. Southeastern Europe is not alone in its struggle against extreme weather. Weather crises are inflicting many nations around the world. Britain is drowning in some of the worst floods in its history; the western and southeastern regions of the United States are experiencing extremely hot temperatures and severe droughts; inland China is being flooded; Australia is enduring massive droughts and intermittent floods at the same time; and the list of weather-related calamities goes on. Iranian air crews are already training on the new Sukhoi aircraft, ready to start flying them early next year with only a short delay after delivery. DEBKAfile’s sources report that Moscow is selling Tehran the same Sukhoi model as India received earlier this year. The Iranians leaned hard on New Delhi to let them have the Israeli avionics and electronics the Indian Air Force had installed in the Russian craft. India refused. Russia began delivering the same craft in June to Malaysia, which also sought Israeli avionics without success. The Su-20MKM has won the nickname of “Islamic Version of Sukhoi.” Its two-member crew shares the workload. The first pilot flies the aircraft, controls weapons and maneuvers the plane in a dogfight. The co-pilot employs BVR air-to-air and air-to-ground guided weapons in long-range engagements, sweeps the arena for enemy craft or missiles and performs as command-and-control in group missions. Some of the plane’s systems are products of the French Thales Airborne Systems company. Moscow’s contract with Tehran for the sale of the Su-30MKM must therefore be cleared with Paris. There is no decision in Jerusalem about asking Paris to withhold its consent to a deal which would substantially upgrade the long-range air assault capabilities of the Islamic Republic whose leaders want to wipe Israel off the map. However, President Nicolas Sarkozy is in mid-momentum of a diplomatic drive in the Arab and Muslim world and unlikely to be receptive to an Israeli approach. The only chance of aborting the Russian sale would be to route the approach through Washington.

Oklahoma City Mayor Mick Cornett has repudiated his signing in 2004 of a document described as "The Declaration of North American Integration."

"I do not favor the North American Union," Cornett he told WND in a telephone interview yesterday. "It was a pretty stupid thing to get involved with three years ago. I don't necessarily remember what I was thinking at the time, but I can speak for now and I do not favor a North American Union."

WND has reported that the document was presented at the May 2004 summit meeting of the North American International Trade Corridor Partnership, or NAITCP. According to an Internet-archived summary report of the meeting, held in Kansas City, Mo., the document was signed by 90 people.

WND asked Cornett if he remembered signing the declaration.

"No," Cornett answered. "I was certainly at the meeting, but it was a long time ago and I've learned a lot in the last few years."

Cornett told WND that Oklahoma City was not taking any steps to integrate with Mexico and Canada and that Oklahoma City has not declared itself an "inland port" targeted for warehousing containers from international trade coming in through Mexican ports on the Pacific Ocean, as has Kansas City to the north and San Antonio to the south of Oklahoma City.

"Oklahoma City is not an inland port for containers coming from China," Cornett stressed. "I am opposed to the extension of the Trans-Texas Corridor into Oklahoma if the whole point is to make it cheaper to transport containers from China coming through Mexican ports."

Cornett said new highway construction between Oklahoma and Texas only would be justified if the point were to relieve any growing gridlock between Dallas and Oklahoma City, not to facilitate international trade.

A check of the Federal Highway Administration website shows that Oklahoma is not one of the 21 states that have passed public-private partnership enabling legislation that includes the 28 key elements the FHWA considers essential to allow private investment consortia to lease existing toll roads or build new toll roads in a state.

WND asked Cornett if he agreed with Oklahoma Republican state Senator Randy Brogdon that Oklahoma ought to withdraw from the North American SuperCorridor Coalition.

"I don't know enough about NASCO to comment," Cornett told WND.

Brogdon told WND in a telephone interview that, "I am extremely pleased to know that Mayor Cornett is opposed to the North American Union and the NAFTA superhighway. Cornett is the mayor of Oklahoma City and the NAFTA Superhighway is designed to come right through the middle of Oklahoma City."

WND asked Brogdon if he plans now to call on Cornett to help him oppose in the Oklahoma legislature the North American Union, the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America, and the NAFTA Superhighway.

"Yes," Brogdon responded. "I hope Mayor Cornett will be a voice to help me in the legislature to curb and to change the opinions of a lot of people that want the NAFTA Superhighway to come through Oklahoma. Now that I know Mayor Cornett has repudiated this declaration, I will call on him to support me with future legislation."

"I would encourage Mayor Cornett to find out more about NASCO," Brogdon stressed. "Hopefully Mayor Cornett will be a voice to encourage the legislature to drop out of NASCO."

Adam Rott, founder of Oklahoma Corridor Watch, was cautiously positive to learn that Cornett had repudiated signing the 2004 declaration.

"I am very pleased to learn that Mayor Cornett has repudiated signing this document," Rott told WND in a telephone interview. "I'm just wondering to what extent Cornett's decision was just politically expedient."

"I knew Oklahomans would be very upset when they saw what Mayor Cornett was doing outside the limelight," Rott added. "It doesn't surprise me that he so quickly repudiated his action because he is also on video calling in no uncertain terms for North American integration."

WND has reported that Cornett called for economic integration of North America in a video interview given at the Conference of Mayors in Boston in 2004.

Rott told WND that he had contacted Cornett's office when his blog first broke the story on July 9 that Cornett signed the declaration in 2004.

"Back then, Mayor Cornett didn't answer my phone calls," Rott said, "but I would like to see what actual steps Cornett is going to take to solidify his repudiation of this declaration. He signed a document that was billed as 'The Declaration of North American Integration.' I would like to see him sign a document specifically saying that he believes North American integration represents a significant threat to our sovereignty."

Rott added that he would like to see Cornett directly take steps to oppose the NAFTA Superhighway coming through Oklahoma.

"If Cornett would like to go on record with his repudiation and sign another document that disavows North American integration, I would be very pleased," Rott continued.
